The following fees apply to Phoenix Rising Academy Courses for the duration of the Academic year commencing in October 2011. Updated fees may apply from the Autumn term of 2012. Participation fees for Seminars, Lectures, Workshops and Events are calculated separately.

PLEASE NOTE:
- A one-time processing fee of €50.00 is payable by all students on their first enrolment. It applies to all first-time students of the Academy, on all courses, regardless of other discounts.
- Students re-enrolling during the same academic year will be charged a reduced enrolment fee of €15 on all courses.
- Students returning after one academic year has elapsed are subject to a reduced enrolment fee of € 30.00.
- Discounts are not cumulative. Greek students may only apply for the solidarity discount or the special concession discount, not both.
- Proof of status or residency is required with all application requesting discounted fees. Greek students must send proof of Greek nationality AND residency. Students applying for a special concession (**)must append documents proving their status.
- Candidates applying for the special concession(**) as single-parents or seniors MUST append income information. In these cases concessions will be granted at the discretion of the Academy.
- Auditing and scholarship options are discontinued as of October 2011. Self-study courses replace the auditing option.
Late Fee Charges
Registration is only taken during the designated registration period. Students whose applications have initially been approved, but who without good reason fail to register at the appointed time will be required to pay the designated Late Fee charges, assuming there are places available. Late fee charges amount to €50.00.
Withdrawal and Refunds
- The following conditions apply to taught courses only. No refunds are issued for withdrawal from self-study courses.
- Students may add or drop a taught class at any time before midnight of the seventh calendar day after official class commencement.
- Students adding or dropping a class may do so by e-mailing [email protected]
- Students dropping a course by e-mailing [email protected] by midnight of the seventh calendar day of the term will receive a refund of 50% less the merchant’s fee charged by any processing agent.
- Registration and late fees are non-refundable in all cases. No refunds will be given after the seventh calendar day of the term.
Installment Plans
Interest-free installment plans are available for taught courses only. Self-study courses must be paid for in full prior to enrollment. Students enrolling on taught courses may pay their fees in two or three monthly installments (dependent on length of course). Please contact us to discuss this option if you wish to pay in installments.
The information contained within the the study site (www.phoenixrising.org.gr) forms part of the 2010-2011 entry prospectus. Every effort is made to ensure that the information presented is correct and up to date. The Academy will use reasonable endeavours to deliver programmes and other services in accordance with the descriptions provided.
The Academy, however, reserves the right to make variations to programme and course contents, entry requirements and methods of delivery, and to discontinue, merge or combine programmes, both before and after a student’s admission to the Academy, if such action is reasonably considered necessary by the Academy.
In the event that, prior to the student commencing the first term of study for any programme or course described in this Prospectus and website, the Academy discontinues the programme, the student may either (1) withdraw from the Academ without any liability for fees, or (2) transfer to such other programme (if any) as may be offered by the Academy for which the student is qualified. If in these circumstances the student wishes to withdraw from the Academy and to enrol in a course elsewhere, the Academy shall use its reasonable endeavours to assist the student.
Once the student has commenced the first term of study, if:
(a) the Academy’s ability to deliver programmes or other services in accordance with the descriptions provided is compromised by circumstances beyond the control of the Academy (eg third party industrial action), the Academy will use all reasonable endeavours to minimise disruption as far as it is practical to do so;
(b) the programme is cancelled or substantially varied from that described in the Prospectus for reasons other than circumstances beyond the Academy’s reasonable control, the Academy will use reasonable endeavours to provide a suitable replacement programme. If the student does not wish to accept the replacement programme, the student shall be entitled to withdraw from the programme. In the event of such withdrawal the Academy shall make an appropriate refund of course fees.
Regulations for students
All students will be required to abide by the Academy’s Terms, Conditions and Regulations as a condition of enrolment. These include, without prejudice to the generality of that statement, academic regulations, arrangements for appeals and grievances, disciplinary regulations and regulations covering the use of the website.
