Mission Statement

 Phoenix Rising Academy offers distance-learning courses, online seminars and webcasts in Western Esotericism, the Creative Arts, and many related topics.

Study at your own pace, from anywhere in the world, alongside accomplished scholars who combine rigorous and critical scholarship with imagination, intuition and a holistic approach to education.

Our aims as an independent educational institution are:

1. To promote the Academic Study of Western Esotericism by offering accessible and flexible study options via online learning,  and accurate, accessible information

2. To develop a scholarly think-tank dedicated to developing an integrative approach to studying these topics.

3. To explore the practical implications of esoteric models of  thought for modern society.

Education should not be reduced to utilitarian skills training, factual knowledge, rote learning and commercialised certification, but should address all of the intellectual faculties as the classical Liberal Arts once did. Only a holistic and interdisciplinary approach can do justice to the study of the manifold human experience of culture, art, and the sacred.
